Report a translation problem
Before anyone asks, I checked for integrity for files. Actually some time later I fresh-installed Linux Mint and downloaded Steam and this game from zero and it still doesn't run.
Disabled Steam Cloud, deleted Appdata folders, removed movie from config.ini, tried some launch commands, etc no work.
It just used to work, and now it's like it's dead! :(
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3500U with Radeon Vega Mobile Gfx × 4
GPU: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. [AMD/ATI] Picasso
Linux: 5.4.0-66-generic
Windows: 10.0.19042.804
It's not an emulation. It's actually a translation. Called Proton (Wine for Steam). I tried different versions of it. Either it won't start or crashes just after loading main menu (while loading some workshop items, maybe?). It sucks that I cannot play this anymore :c My curse of 2021, i guess
I used to chill playing this game... Now it's just heartbraking :c
With regard to Linux, you can check the ProtonDB[www.protondb.com] for some tips.
Also might want to consider upgrading your kernel as 5.4 is getting a bit long in the tooth!
I disabled Steam Cloud option in client, also unsubbed from Workshop (which I never subbed anything), but, no. But I will try my luck using some other networks I could try a DNS or VPN service. I doubt that's the issue but who knows.
Thanks, I already checked ProtonDB multiple times. Since I started playing, there are no new reviews or tricks posted. I mean I already edited cm3.ini and tried every launch option mentioned there. Vapor Dosh's report there kinda tells what I am experiencing, but this report was there while I was able to play, too.
Then I upgraded to newer kernel! 5.8.0-44-generic and boom the game launched. :) I needed to disable startupmovie but that was expected. Game was working fine except weird aspect ratio, then I tried my native res (Full screen, 1920×1080) and game crashed. Now it refuses to start, just crashes after 1-2 seconds. I think resolution is another issue. I will look for options to change resolution but I have no idea how to do it without launching the game.
So my options are...
Game doesn't want me to play? Or game is playing me?
This I cannot answer, however I have just managed to get the game to fire up using Proton-6.1-GE-2[github.com], with no modifications to the .ini file.
Maybe this will help you?

Thank you for any advice
EDIT now it crashed ingame, BEX64. It is to me bit familiar. Pitty
EDIT realized this is only game when i run it and then checking integrity of files it always found 1 file that cannot be properly and downloaded again. It is happening all the time and probably source of problems on exit. Probably it is that software redistributables...
Logged in to second PC, now content servers unreachable.
not having much luck

I have trouble finding the part editor. I have seen the tutorial video and appearently I should see it when selecting a default part or in the part selection but for me it is not there unfortunately. Is there a way to fix this or perhaps a different way to enter the editor that I have not found yet?
