Lesbian Simulator 2015 Needs More Romance

The Rebirth games are my first experience with the Neptunia games, which I never got into cuz I assumed they were fanservicey trash, which they can be here and there. (Tongue scene I'm looking at you.) But what I really liked about Rebirth 1 was that it sort of treats lesbian and bisexual women as the default. Noire is incredibly tsundere for Neptune, and Vert and Iffy crushing hard on each other was cute and funny and I was rooting for them the whole game.

I was very happy to see that Rebirth 2 keeps up with the queer women default, tho the gross straight dudes present in some scenes (Like the concert, just to offer an example) kinda muddied that for me, but on the whole I'm still hype as hell about this game. I just got the True ending, already have gotten the Conquest and Normal endings, and I'm planning on getting all the others.

The one thing that still bugs me about Rebirth 2 is just that there doesn't seem to be a reciprocated attraction like there was between IF and Vert in Rebirth 1. Chika lusts for Vert, but Vert doesn't seem to lust for Chika. Cave is clearly in love with 5pb. but we don't see enough of 5pb. to ever know if she feels the same about Cave. (I will say tho that one scene between Cave and 5pb. reminded me of how my own girlfriend and I act toward each other) Neptune is too busy being LOLSORANDOM (she is funny don't get me wrong) to notice that Noire feels that way about her. Etc etc. (I even think Underling might have been in love with CFW Magic, tho I'm not certain of that.)

Anyway, I just wanted to vocalize this, show that there are queer women who are super into these games for that aspect, and vocalize my hope that Rebirth 3 has some reciprocated lesbian romance. I'm really excited for when it makes its way onto Steam and will buy it the moment it does.

I beat this entire game, I saw every single cutscene, I saw the massage scene, Chika does love Vert, and if it's not 100% "I want to love you until the oceans run dry." It's still love.
And not platonic.

I can honestly write a series for men despite being a girl myself. I have no way of proving I'm a girl, so feel free to ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that. Unless you were being sarcastic on that last line. Anyways for that boob subtext that's complex. I'm not sure I can explain that in a way that is easily understandable.

That's a bizarre argument, since this game features a Conquest ending, which is the most serious part of the game.

To say that every bit of this game is a parody is beyond absurd.
Why in the hell can there not be one serious part to this game besides the "Rocks FAll, everyone dies" ending.

What is so hard to accept about Chika actually being in love with Vert.

I don't care what your projected gender or orientation are. It doesn't change the medium. And I never said with absolution none of the characters are actually lesbian. But I don't assume they are simply because I've seen these behaviors before, very regularly. And the result was, they weren't lesbian.

What is absurd about it? If people didn't take the game so serious, they also wouldn't take that ending so serious. Think about the Conquest ending for a second. Think about all the cheese with ham that's in it. Nepgear has to kill MOST OF HER FRIENDS to FEED A DEMONIC SWORD so she can use the demonic sword TO SAVE THE WORLD

It was played to the extreme, it was probably meant to reference all the "end of the world" tropes and "heroic sacrifice" tropes that are continuesly used in the entertainment industry. It might very well have been another parody. Think about the anime for a second, they come back to that Conquest ending and then ridicule it in a scene where Neptune turns into a mass of dogoos. I don't see why they would do that, if they were absolutely serious about this franchise.

You keep making up stories because you don't like other peoples views. I don't think single person got mad that you believe the characters are lesbians. And you accuse people of being homophobic even though no one said anything about you.

Since it's stated in the game it was Nepgear's first time meeting Chika, she never had that kind of reaction to Chika. Neither did she even question her sexuality. Honestly, if you see that Massage scene, and then tell me that Chika still doesn't love Vert, I'll be surprised.

I have seen the event. Why can't someone admire another without being gay about it? I actually have a Japanese pen pal that does admire cute girls to the point where my cousin asked if she was bi and she denied it. I can't analyze the text though since the only video I found of that scene has kanji. Which is even more stupid of me to say since the localizers like to mess with the dialogue a bit.

I've gone through the PS3 version a few time recently, and during the massage scene it's actually Chika telling herself that they "don't have that kind of relationship" while trying her best to restrain herself before defenseless Vert.
The whole thing is played for laughs, naturally. But there is certainly a lot more going through that girl's head than sisterly love.

This can't be a freaking 100% parody nothing serious crazypants land game.

No game can even last with that level of absurdity. Not to have 3 games ina series, and certainly not to have 3 remakes.

If you cannot handle a discussion, you should avoid inviting others to have a discussion about your thoughts in a medium that is freely available to everyone.

Well, the PS3 was a bit different dialogue in that scene.

Regardles, I find it absurd people can't accept the contrarian ideals to what they say.

I'm not saying only my way is right, I'm simply saying, people can't be taken seriously if they constantly say the same thing over and over, and refuse to admit they could be wrong.

If Chika doesn't like Vert like that, I'm going to need a lot more than some people telling me she doesn't.
