So, its almost 2 years old since its original airing. Grant it, I've seen anime with worse animation, but this is far from it. I just honestly wouldn't hold much to the story to be perfectly honest.

dubs are better than the subbed versions sometimes. I watch dubbed versions IF i can because i wana actually WATCH the cartoon and not have to read the lower part of the screen and keep popping my eyes up every few seconds.

If i wana read then i will read a book. Im wanting to watch the actual damn cartoon if i can.

Black Lagoon was a better dubbed series than the subbed. Some other dubbed cartoons are better than the subbed versions too. Dont bash others just because they like to actually watch the program rather than read it.

I suppose if star wars came out subbed first then you would be raging at an english voice casted version?

Some people like the dubs because it is hard to tell the tone of voice someone has when they're in a language not their own. I can only understand yelling, crying, happy, and anger. Anything more advanced than that and its lost on me.

The dub has been out for month now by the way.

The reason I like dubs is so I don't have to sit there and read the anime on the TV and it's in my native language english, I can actually understand it and in my opinion I think dubs gives characters way more diversity in the way their voice sounds but that's just me. I didn't start this thread to start any fights, I only posted it so that those who are fans of the games dub can now watch the anime dubbed.

I watch both dubbed and subbed anime it all depends on the quality of the dubs and the VA's if they are too my liking then I watched dubs but if they aren't then i'll go with subs.

Some shows are worth watching both versions ... one that comes to mind is highschool dxd the subbed version is very good and some elements like koneko's nya are epic in Japanese audio compared to meow in English which feels forceds.

But the small changes in dialog in the English audio makes it very funny way funnier then the subbed version...yes they changed VA's for Issei and Akenko for season 3 which is a shame.

Many anime's I can't stand the american VA's the voices are like nails on a clalkboard and other times Japanese voices feel the same. Having watched the Fate series in English I got to Fate/UBW and had no option but to watch the subbed version now while I don't mind that there is so much dialog you end up having to pause the show to read it all and miss half the action.

Steins;Gate a dialog heavy anime is brillaint in both subbed and dubbed versions with the humor and rich dialog it's better dubbed for the above reasons. There are merits to both subbed and dubbed versions of anime yes some are good and some are bad Fate/ magical girl Illya being one of the worste dubs i've heard yet the rest of the fate series had an amazing dub.

I think it's funny that people are saying it's a terrible cast of voice actors when every single one of them is a well established VA who's probably voiced some of their favorite stuff in the past.

The only terrible thing is that it's not VA from the game or Priachu's VA well maybe that's a bit far it's a shame they couldn't get the full cast lol.

Not like they play a significant role in the anime though. I was satisfied with the dub overal.
