Cursed sword route question

Do my lily ranks need to be at 8+ before I get into chapter 6, or is there time to get my lily ranks up before I start the first event in chapter 6.

If you're going for Holy Sword ending, you should have their Lily Ranks 8+ before fighting CFW Magic. You also have to have Planeptune's shares at least at 60%, I think.

So it seems you have time to grind your lily ranks in chapter 6, before you get the sword from the lan castle depths.

The CFW magic fight is the last fight of Chapter 5, meaning you'll have to fulfill the conditions before entering CH6 to enter the Conquest route.

But the Lily ranks only determine wether you get The Holy Sword or the Conquest Ending and can be grinded till the fight in Lastation, after which the routes split.

Make sure you've got all the makers (humans) recruited. I spent an entire evening doing the first part of Conquest over and over because I had neglected to pick up Falcom (luckily I had a Chapter 5 save file in case of something like that).
