Stuck at Chapter 2. No event marker.

I'm stuck in Chapter 2 after being told to find parts for a ferry that's undergoing maintenance. No event markers are popping up for me so not only do I not know where to go, I'm thinking that I may have broken something.

Anyone else experienced this before, and if so, how did you continue your progress?

Go to the guild and do the quests that reward the parts you need. Once you've gotten them an event will trigger.

You must complete these quests in the guild

[Find] Plum-mets A-Poppin'
[Find] Bespectacled Wishes
[Hunt] No More Summer Breaks!
