Why not online multiplayer?
This sort of game would work great online. Why only make it same room multiplayer?

You do know you can just stream the game and give people the room code.. right?

Irrelevant, the game was not made for that, nor is streaming a good option. Furthermore most people don't stream and you would have to know/invite everyone.

he is right there should be a online multiplayer, i don't see why there shouldnt be one , they are just lazy

Not irrelevant at all. The game WAS made for streaming. It has an audience limit of 10,000. There is an option in-game for longer turns to allow for crazy numbers of people to respond in time given the inevitable delay in streaming.

You don't have to invite people either, if I was to stumble onto a stream I can put the room code (which is visible on screen at all times for this reason) and join in.

It's not 'laziness', it was specifically made to be able to be played like this. Much of the feedback for Jackbox Party Pack was that it was strictly local and streaming options didn't work very well.

We aren't lazy, this game was designed for local party play and streaming but online multiplayer is something we are looking into for future titles

Just use zoom chat with your friends. It's worked the best for me and my friends so far and there is no noticeable lag

That would be great. I have a fun time playing with people that stream but streaming isn't an option for me really and I really don't have any friends that are into this sort of thing unfortunately so a public game/mmo type feature would be extremely cool

This should definetively have online multiplayer, local multiplayer is long gone. Now i feel really dumb because getting into a streamed game is absurdely hard even though it's free, and buying the game does nothing for that either because your stream will be buried under all of the actual professional/more famous streamers and nobody will ever join you. And there's also the hassle of having to actually configure a stream, so it looks and sounds decent enough so people won't just leave after just entering. Resuming: actually buying the game does nothing for me, thank god for Steam Refunds.

Click this and click the Favourite button. You can join someone else's game for free very easily. There's 20,000 viewers watching this game right now so you'll have no problem finding a game with strangers.

To be honest, you probably aren't going to have a good time streaming if the whole process is that complicated for you. Multiplayer is very easy to setup for this game if you use Zoom and just stream the Zoom chat

You do realize you can go to Jackbox.tv and give your friends to play it this game is meant for friends, which it seems none of you have so maybe go find some.
