Hmm, didn't realize Windows 10 doesn't have Windows Media Player installed, it is listed in the minimum requirements though. I might be switching from XNA to Monogame or Unity in a near future which would fix the problem, but I can't make any promises at the moment.

According to 2 of my friends that have Windows 10 they confirm that there is Windows Media Player. Here is the proof http://prntscr.com/8c9wm6.

I know windows media player is in win 10 - not working in this system with game and not supported by microsoft. Because microsoft add new player with system.
EDIT:
I adding to default player "Windows media Player" in audio files in game folder and launching this program and nothing.
EDIT 2:
P.S. Windows Media Player is not available for user who using clean installation for windows 10.

@FallenMaster: Instead of completely rewriting the game engine, how about just don't use the MediaPlayer class to play music?

There are plenty of other options. Eg. Check out http://gamedev.stackexchange.com/questions/20772/loading-sound-in-xna-without-the-content-pipeline/42090#42090

Note that this only applies to music, not all sounds. Non-music files already get converted by the content pipeline at compile-time.

Nice game, by the way.

I wouldn't rewrite/port it for this particular problem, it's more that I might be porting it anyway. Thanks for the tips though!

Doesn't the number keys for quick swapping work for you either? You can set them in the shop for abilities using number keys 1 to 4.

I tried installing Windows 10 on my laptop, but the game worked fine for me. This does not seem to be a general problem with Windows 10, but if someone else have the same problem please tell me.

Sorry to necro an old thread. See my post in this discussion on how I got it to work.
Try uninstalling Microsoft XNA (whichever version you have) and reinstalling the latest one from Microsoft (currently version 4.0)
