shippingpc-bmgame.exe error

I just bought game but when i started the launcher It showed shippingpc-bmgame.exe error. Please tell me how to fix this problem.

it's your realtek sound motherboard sound card. When I disable mine it works. BS if you ask me. No other fix so far i'm looking into it but the game will launch with no sound .

when you buy it says that they are experiencing problems with this. but they are looking into fixing it as sonn as possible. dont worry you can play it once the game has been fixed without buying it all over again :)

Wow it works as you(Ironwolf) said mute all sound in taskbar. Thank a lots although playing no sound

I would like to add that before I did what Ironwolf's suggestion is, I also tried unistall gfwlive and windows live I-D sign in assistant. Then, tried restall both of them again. Next, did what Ironwolf's suggestion (mute the sound) After that, entered game OK but no sound. Finally, exited game , no mute sound , entered game again and it's perfect.

just reinstalled this on a new build and kept getting the launch error bmgame has stopped working...tried all the tricks out there regardring re-install, mslive,drm, validate etc...nothing worked...then installed one of my other steam games - Bioshock and it ran fine, so i went back and tried Batman and it launched! My best guess is that bioshock installed the C++ redist and then either registered or fixed an issue with the previous install...although i had reinstalled that before as well and ms did an updated w/ security patches etc...anyway can't say 100% if that was it since i did so many things but that's what did finally work...

oh wanted to add that both games use UnReal engine for whatever that's worth
