PS if you are thinking about buying off of steam search Humblebundle.com and be delighted.
As muckymucks said above, both are great games. I even liked some aspects of Asylum better than City (like story, atmosphere or secrets). It's defnitely NOT a lesser quality game compared to City, City just introduces a few nice things like huge open world and new gadgets, but all and all, quality-wise, they're about the same imo.
It isn't. AA has the better story, better narrative and makes much more sense. You feel much more like a silent predator in AA than you do in AC, which is just a massive brawler for the most part.
Of course if you are just in it for bashing peoples heads and not for playing Batman, then i am sure you'll enjoy AC more. You'll be beating up hundres uppon hundres of goons for no apparant reason, and for the most part you can't even really be Batman and Instill fear into them. You'll just beat them up.
And AA has an amazing story with a really amazing and sexy Harlequin. AC's story feels much more like "We got to show off some villains". In AA everything has a Place, in AC most stuff is just there for fanservice.
Don't get me wrong.. AC is a good game. AA is just the better game.
Yes...DO NOT MISS HARLEY!
AA has a much better story than city
