Microsoft .NET Framework Error SOLVED!

okay so earlier this afternoon i asked the forums how to fix the same error alot of people seem to be having with the .NET framework

after some searching and trial and error i have found an easy solution that worked for me.

go to control panel and start by uninstalling Nvidia PhysX from your programs.
once it is uninstalled go back to steam and re-install Batman AA (not sure if this step is neccesary, but i took it)
once the game is ready to play in steam again click play and wait for steam to reinstall PhysX

it should work without error after that, did for me anyways.

Works but you dont need to reinstall the game. Just uninstall Nvidia PhysX and start the game

This did not work for me (Windows 8.1 Pro). But simply installing a newer version of DirectX from the web worked like a charm. [http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=35]

I just played this two days ago then reinstalled Windows last night only to be plagued by this ludicrous message today. I ended up having to install DX EURW Installer (https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=35&nowin10) and it resolved my issue. I truly appreciate the community's help on this matter!

I know it's an old thread, just wanted to share that reinstalling physX didn't work for me.

However, installing the DirectX from the redist folder, even though it's old, worked perfectly.

This was after I tried a full reinstall of Batman AA and that still failed.

If you're trying to play in Big Picture, run it from normal Steam first so the setup is performed. Wow, Valve, really?

I solved it by simply disabling my virus software for 10 minutes.
