Stupid question regarding explosive gel

OK, I'm on the mission where I have to rescue Dr Young, where I have to put explosive gel on two different walls to kill all the guards. But when I try to do this, it'll only let me set gel on one location, there is no option for me to put the gel on the second location, only to detonate that one gel.

Have I missed something really obvious like an upgrade to set gel on multiple locations, or am I just missing something painfull obvious.

Use the detectivmode by pressing "x". So then you can see whats walls can detonate.

Man I had the exact same problem when I was at that location! Glad you managed to figure it out so fast, took me ages :D

As a general rule, if you are stuck, try detective mode.

I can't figure this out..it always only lets me set one charge?

on a controller its dpad to select gel, LT + RT to spray, then RB to detonate them, up to maximum of 3 charges, if need be.

thats it. detective mode (LB) will indicate the structurally weak walls.

pretty basic arkham 101 stuff. not sure about keyboard inputs. they'd be in the options.

I restarted my game and it fixed it...was glitched some how - it was placing all 3 at once.
