How do I quickly score X8? I seem to manage just fine with ATTACK + COUNTER. But I never seem to get as high as X8. Do I need to include Ground Takedown, too?
I'm almost alway fighting 2-5 or even more thugs at a time (at least in earlier stage of the game, thugs often appear in groups of 2-5, no?)
So what you are saying, is I should punch 1 thug, then move onto punching a 2nd thug (without continuing to punch the 1st thug), then 3rd, then 4th, until I score X8, THEN start throwing or going back finish the 1st thug?
Ugh. That's not intuitive and borderline retarded, don't you think? Why would a player want to do that? Just to crank up the score?
IF the above is in fact how one would score high, then I think Assasin's Creed has a far better combat system then (at last in AC II, AC B and AC R).
It also can be difficulty level which is important. Because enemies will take more on hard, as the result even 4 thugs'll allow you to score enough.
Anyway the best way to practice throwing and combat at all is challange maps. Try it, get good timing with strikes and counters and everything will be fine
Yeah, so my (only?) Challenge map is the intense treatment unit (the very starting area of the game) where I fight some 4 waves of enemy.
I have the GOTY edition. I wonder if I missing any maps or?
Oh that makes a lot of sense. Yeah I'm 15% into the game. Thanks!
