my workaround I bought a single slot 3050 that only uses pci express power no power connector
One thing it may be possible to do, is for the community to make some sort of "wrapper" that creates a "fake" PhysX GPU that the game will see, while internally running 64-bit CUDA so the 5000 series will work. This is absolutely something that could be done. How much work it would take, I don't know.
