But since then, GFWL has been removed and replaced by Steamworks.
So before october, saves were stored in:
"Documents\Square Enix\Batman Arkham Asylum GOTY\SaveData"
but are now stored in:
"Steam\userdata\<userid>\35140\remote"

This is because <userid> does not exist... and yes I know that <userid> means my own user ID, but there are only folders with numbers in there, is one of those numbers my actual numerical ID? if so, how can I identify which?

Savegames only weighs a few kb. From 64 to 90 I think.

I read your previous post a bit too quickly.
The saves should be called "saveX.sgd" where X+1 is the slot number in-game.
