Can't get 3d to work
Hello everyone. I'd just like to point out that this game runs wonderfully smooth on my gtx 570. Unfortunately, I've been dying to play this game in 3d on my new Sony Bravia 3d tv. I was able to get the nvidia 3d test to work, so 3d is definitely compatible with this tv. However, when I select the 3d option in the launcher, nothing happens when the game actually launches.

Has anyone had this problem and does anyone have a solution?

I have the exact same scenario. Maybe it is the same as the PS3 version which is old school Magenta and Cyan colours for glasses? They call it: triOvis.
But I'm sure the game setting said to enable the 3D stereoscopic feature in the nVidia control panel? Maybe the cheaper Steam version doesn't have the 3D feature?

Anyone have any info?

I dunno what test you're on about but the TV needs to support Nvidia 3d Vision and to my knowledge 0 TVs do. (someone correct me if I'm wrong)

You need Nvidia 3d Vision glasses, the infrared sensor and compatible monitor.

Even if the test works without testing with the sensor or glasses it doesn't mean much. Have you tried getting 3D to work on anything else other than this game?

I'm using the Sony PS3 3D monitor that comes with active 3D glasses. Running the test feature in nVidia control panel works at many resolutions quite fine. I will try to test 3D on another game or application. Incidently, this hardware does work with PS3 3D games.

Whats is interesting is that once settings are made in-game, it simply runs in 2D at seemingly any resolution. There are no errors or locks. Using a GTX 480 with 1gb memory, so I'm thinking it's related to hardware / memory / phYsX or a combination of one or more. I will have a chance to test with 2 GTX 560's which will give me dedicated phYsX and double the memory. CPU is AMD 3ghz quad core and 6gb ram, ssd drive as well.

Possible someone could respond with successful 3D run, describing their settings and hardware used. Still looking to find settings guide and hardware guide for the game to run in 3D. I have Arkham City as well, so will try that next as it is also nVidia 3D vision.

Update: You may be correct SupaFly, this may require the specific USB I/R emitter and glasses package, even if the 3DTV is of the similar tech (I/R). The newest 3d vision driver may require this specific hardware:

Unfortunately you don't see many companies that create tech that will work on competitors tech.

Of course, seeing as this has changed with a newer driver release, possibly nVidia users could get by with a hack similar to what AMD users do when trying to run nVidia 3D vision. I question whether or not it is that simple. Maybe this is just a marketing ploy. If thats the case, thanks apple...I mean, nVidia...(proprietary hardware). I mean, why do the stereoscopic 3D test programs run on my hardware and the games do not?
