The first cutscene shows Gotham thats it though. The rest of the game is in the Asylum itself and in the outside parts of the Asylum.
Arkham City, Origins and Knight all take place in the city proper.
City and Origins take place on 2 islands that you can't get to in Knight (Origins takes place on another island south of where City did). You can SEE those 2 islands from Knight but you can't go to them. The 3 islands in Knight are "new" (in that you've never been to them before, even though you could see them from the other games).
At some point, I should make a rough sketch of where the islands all are.
Nevermind! Someone beat me to it. This accurately depicts all the islands in the places they are in Arkham Knight.

No. The Arkham Asylum batcave is ONLY in Arkham Asylum. Arkham City theres no bat cave if I remember correctly, and Origins, I never finished so idk.
1) Arkham cave in Arkham Asylum
2) Mansion Batcave in Arkham Origins.
No cave in Arkham City (unless you count challenge map) or Arkham Knight (but there are 3 other hideouts for Batman).
