Report a translation problem
1. Select game in Library, right-click Properties > Local Files, Verify Integrity of Game Files.
2. Select game in Library, right-click Properties > Updates, Automatic Updating.
If no improvement, try disabling DirectX:
1. Locate DefaultEngine.ini: Steam \ steamapps \ common \ Batman Arkham Asylum GOTY \ BmGame \ Config \ DefaultEngine.ini
2. Open DefaultEngine.ini with NotePad
3. Locate "AllowD3D10=True" and change True to False
4. Save file and restart computer
If no improvement, try disabling PhysX from inside the Launcher > Settings, last item down.
Physics isnt enabled because Im using a RX580 8GB
Verified the game didnt work
Save was backed up to the cloud so can't use that, starting new game works so somehow the main nearly completed save is now corrupt and I would have to start again

Also, try reducing your in-game resolution from maximum from inside the Launcher > Settings. That might help you in your new playthrough.
