Audio Muffled, sound effected and Music

Having an issue with my audio literally being muffled and low, sounds staticy. Never had this problem before when playing it numerous times. I got it to work once in big picture mode but then it started to do it again. I have looked all over the internet and I can't this fixed. I can't figure this out.

same problem here, i also searched online for a solution but couldn't find anything that helps fix this issue :(

I did upgrade to Windows 11 but I would assume that couldn't cause this kind of error. Sorry to hear its happening to you as well friend! Hopefully we can get this fixed.

Nope, I had given up after numerous times to no avail. Honestly frustrating. The best advice I can give is to just keep trying Big Picture mode because it worked once.

I ended up turning subtitles on because words just are not heard when people talk sometimes. Thinking maybe its set to surround sound or something and I only have a stereo setup.

A bit late but here is what I observed: It happens when the mic is used by, for e.g, discord. I turned off mic permission from settings and it worked.

If anyone is still having this problem, exiting out of razer THX spatial audio solved this problem for me
