'Runtime Error!'

Well, two posts in one day, that's a thing

So I'm playing the game on Hard, and I'm at the Botanical Gardens. Specifically, the fight against two roided-up rejects, or 'Titan Thugs' as they prefer to be called. Same thing always happens now, the fight starts, the white one shrieks and charges, I batarang his face, he hits a wall, and the INSTANT he hits a wall, this pops up on my screen:

I'm not using any mods or cheats for this game, I'm playing it vanilla. I also haven't used any speed-runner get-ahead moves, I'm playing the game totally normally from start to finish. I've completed the game on PC on both easy and normal difficulty, this is the first time I've had this happen, and it happens every time I try to play the bossfight. I'd look up customer support but I'd rather ask around first to see if anyone else is having this problem. Considering, as I said, this has only happened now, on hard difficulty, I think something's bugging out.

Did you patch and verify the game after installing the game?:
1. Select game in Library, right-click Properties > Updates, choose Automatic Updating.
2. Select game in Library, right-click Properties > Local Files, Verify Integrity of Game Cache.

If you're running Windows 10, it lacks the legacy redistributables. You might only need the vcredist based on the error message, so start with that one:
Steam \ steamapps \ common \ Batman Arkham Asylum GOTY \ redist \ vcredist_x86

Just verified, 3 files are being replaced, with any luck that'll fix it
