Black room into endless falling

Went into the asylum mansion and the room turned black and I start to endlessly fall. Restart check point loads into falling. Restart game still loads into falling.

Disable PhysX from inside the Launcher > Settings, last item. Also disable DX10:
1. Locate DefaultEngine.ini: Steam \ steamapps \ common \ Batman Arkham Asylum GOTY \ BmGame \ Config \ DefaultEngine.ini
2. Open DefaultEngine.ini with NotePad
3. Locate "AllowD3D10=True" and change True to False
4. Save file and restart computer

You're welcome. Some maintenance tips: if it worked, you'll need to periodically check that DefaultEngine.ini file to make certain DX10 remains disabled. If you verify the game cache, receive a Steam client update or Windows update, any of those three events can revert the DefaultEngine.ini back to it's original unedited condition which will require disabling DX10 again before playing in order to prevent the freefall glitch.

Hi, I have the same issue, I tried doing as u said but it didn't work, any possible reasons? I had almost finished the riddler quests it was my only room missing
