Batman AA GOTY - can't walk through the door with imprisoned Joker - HELP please!
Hello everybody:)

This is the start of the game - I watched the movie with grabbing Joker and bringing him to Arkham Asylum and then I start walking with imprisoned Joker and three guards through INtensive Therapy lobby. After driving down using platform we can not pass through the closed doors and I can't see any possibility to open it...

Try reducing your game's screen resolution from inside the Launcher if resolution is set needlessly high. If that doesn't work try disabling PhysX from inside the Launcher. You're not that far along in the game; you might consider deleting this save and starting over.

Could you please tell me what is appropriate resolution? As for now I have 1366x768 and I tried 1260x600 too.
I have just disabled PhysX too.

I tried to reinstall the game 3 times and started it over aove 10 times already...

is this door supposed to be already opened or it opens when we come?

:(

p.s. I have steam cloud disabled for this game too but I still can see the old savegames after relanuching... even if I delete them all before...

There's no door there, it's an open security scanning tunnel. After you zoom Batman's POV when prompted you should gain free passthrough entry. I don't understand why you're being blocked if you've already done that.

Arkham Asylum is notorious for zombie saves. They keep resurrecting no matter how many times you kill them. I delete my saves and start a new game, bring it to just after the first skippable cutscenes and then quit.

Where do I need to zoom POV? and can it be affected but covering my laptop camera?

If you watch the video the POV zoom prompt appears at the 4:14 mark, inside the security tunnel. And no, your laptop camera has nothing to do with it.

Instead of reinstalling the game, did you patch and verify it? And by reinstall do you mean you totally uninstalled it from the Windows Control Panel, or did you only delete local content?

I can not pass through the doors you can see in 3:56 (it slides down, letting the guards and Batman to go through).

I have 1.1 version installed via steam and i didn't find anything more to update my game with. I reinstalled it also via steam option. I did verify the files in steam.

Now I am reinstalling it once again and also delete the local content (there were some leftovers in Batman catalogue in steamapps).

Hey, I think I found a fix (for deleting savegames permanently.)

So, first of all, go to your Steam Library and rightclick Arkham Asylum, go to properties -> Updates and uncheck "Enable Steam Cloud synchronization for Batman: Arkham Asylum GOTY Edition".

Now go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata and If you only have one account, there should be only one folder, but if you have multiple accounts, just look for "35140" in every one of them. Now just delete "remotecache.vdf" and the "remote" folder. I'm not sure if you can check the "Enable Steam Cloud synchronization for Batman: Arkham Asylum GOTY Edition" box again afterwards, but unless you play on different computers, you won't need it I guess.

I Hope it works for you!

Krzyżak, instead of continuing on this save did you try deleting it and starting a new game?

What is strange:

the situation with neither the voice nor the subtitles which should appear when I enter the space with the bold/short cut guard and warrden walking by.
