Could you please tell me what is appropriate resolution? As for now I have 1366x768 and I tried 1260x600 too.
I have just disabled PhysX too.
I tried to reinstall the game 3 times and started it over aove 10 times already...
is this door supposed to be already opened or it opens when we come?
:(
p.s. I have steam cloud disabled for this game too but I still can see the old savegames after relanuching... even if I delete them all before...
Arkham Asylum is notorious for zombie saves. They keep resurrecting no matter how many times you kill them. I delete my saves and start a new game, bring it to just after the first skippable cutscenes and then quit.
After 3:51 the door are openning and in my game they are staing closed... I have no voice and subtitles here too starting from 3:21
Instead of reinstalling the game, did you patch and verify it? And by reinstall do you mean you totally uninstalled it from the Windows Control Panel, or did you only delete local content?
I have 1.1 version installed via steam and i didn't find anything more to update my game with. I reinstalled it also via steam option. I did verify the files in steam.
Now I am reinstalling it once again and also delete the local content (there were some leftovers in Batman catalogue in steamapps).
So, first of all, go to your Steam Library and rightclick Arkham Asylum, go to properties -> Updates and uncheck "Enable Steam Cloud synchronization for Batman: Arkham Asylum GOTY Edition".
Now go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata and If you only have one account, there should be only one folder, but if you have multiple accounts, just look for "35140" in every one of them. Now just delete "remotecache.vdf" and the "remote" folder. I'm not sure if you can check the "Enable Steam Cloud synchronization for Batman: Arkham Asylum GOTY Edition" box again afterwards, but unless you play on different computers, you won't need it I guess.
I Hope it works for you!
No problem - your hint is also useful and I thank for that :)
Yes, I tried it too. I started it over 10 times :(
the situation with neither the voice nor the subtitles which should appear when I enter the space with the bold/short cut guard and warrden walking by.
Anyone got a solution? I`m havbing the same problem. Tried almost every option... :(
