Wuthering Waves

Tips for Tactical Hologram?
I'm absolutely lost here, currently trying other content since I've finished all quests aside from some sidequests I haven't picked up yet. I'm SOL6 with all my team lvl 80 and almost as upgraded as they can be for my SOL level. Echoes, skills, team synergy I have everything almost as good/leveled as it can be at my level.

But all of this Tactical Hologram is a massive joke, requiring no skill and you can just chill through the whole thing. However when I reach lvl 4 (my max as the enemy spawns as 80) I just can't do it. Suddenly the boss kills all my characters in 2 hits, it takes eons to get the stagger bar down.

Now inb4 anyone says "well, yea duh, you need to dodge etc you can't just left-click spam to victory." I am fully aware of that. I'm very used to games requiring you to actually dodge stuff and learn a fight. I also like that, my library is full of souls-likes and similar games.

But having an encounter go from absolute joke to 2-shot beatdown vs a gigantic "bulletsponge" for the lack of a better term, that takes incredibly more hits than before is absolutely jarring to me. I get being overleveled, but the jump from lvl 3 Hologram to lvl 4 feels insane.

This is a bit of rant, cause I'm fuming I can't get this done and tilting that the boss casually 2-3 shots my characters. While I'm spending exponentially longer on the stagger&hp bar.

Am I really just that bad at the game? Or is the "endgame" supposed to be an incredibly punishing 2-3 shot beatdown vs multi-minute long bulletsponges, requiring near perfect play?

Hmm, I wasn't expecting having to lock in like a Darksouls game this much. The more chill experience is why I like WuWa so much, but maybe this Hologram stuff isn't for me then. Seeing 20k hp disappear because I miss 2 dodges is not what I was looking for.

I wanted to do this one because of the seasonal objective, but unless I feel like a masochist I don't see me putting up with the trial.

Can you do co-op in it? I'm just about hitting lvl 70 with a couple of characters, still working my way through most of the game lmao, i know there's co-op but heard there's not a lot of things you can do with other players :/ Might make it a bit easier if someone can help you though!

Best bet is to just hold off until you get your characters to 90 and they're mostly/fully built. The last difficulty is like lvl 100 so you can hold off until then. If you really want to beat them now, buy or craft the revive items, put turtle on verina, use food items that give atk/crit/def. You can stack 1 atk food and 1 def food. Holograms are largely a skill/gear check.
Tactical hologram is not chill. Too HP spongy and trash.

To be fair, the bosses moves are very readable. They do oneshot, which is very frustrating, but that is why the game has been encouraging you to learn how to dodge and counter attacks, because even if you don't die, getting hit and interrupted is a time loss in timed modes. As a person who's accustomed to action RPGs, the dodge timings in WuWa are VERY generous.

Just make sure you're not spam-dodging because of panicking, cuz if you do and dash twice in a row, you can't dodge for the next 1 second.

Yes, you might've noticed that there's barely any rewards at all for hologram, it just exists to be the final challenge, nothing more, nothing less
Well, for starters, lvl 80 isn't gonna cut it. Get to 90. I know, that takes a while, but the stat boost from ten levels is substantial. Then you're gonna need some high-DPS characters. Perfect dodges and counters are all well and good, but nobody wants to do that for 30 minutes straight, so you'll need enough damage output to end the fight in a reasonable time frame. Buffing support characters are also great, Shorekeeper's perfect for it (also heals), but there are alternatives.

But if you think it's bad at lvl 4 Hologram, wait until you're facing lvl 6.

As far as I can tell, that's co-op mandatory, the damagesponge is just too stupidly huge otherwise.

at 90 with at least three good substats on each echo with a team with basic synergy, it's at most a three minute battle (with unoptimized rotations), that's still a lot of effort, but it is the final challenge of the game, but if you want to see impressive, look to the danjin mains

and if you want it to be easier, bring a relevant offensive and defensive food, it'll drop the difficulty in half, there's no coop though, they had a few coop events that were equivalent early on, but they were complete jokes, with the boss evaporating instantly, so they've tabled the idea for now, maybe they'll figure out how to make it interesting eventually

I'm kind of stuck here too, just got lev 80 with aemeath, lupa and shorekeeper
How are you supposed to dodge with aemeath animations where you don't see the boss?

You don't, you got rugpulled
Level 4 and higher is easier at level 90 with good echos and relevant substats upgraded, level 6 is always hard.
food boost helps a lot too, anyway here comes the tricky part, you have to take at least the 80% of their HP before the stance break, after that mfs just goes full berserk mode at their own way and the fight can make a 180 turn real fast
Use food buffs as the other person said, and you can also use healing items such as Heal, Regen or Revive but they have a cooldwon of 60s or something. It's the easiest "end" game mode. But idk, it's not rotation and there's no random buffs so it doesn't feel like end game to me, more like a combat challenge
