Co-op is limited in games like this.
And the matchmaking is fast, always lot of people playing.
Ok cool so there's more chance than not that more multiplayer content will be added if co op is there already and active events are a thing?
What other games like this are you referring to?
Maybe keep useless comments to yourself in the future.
Thanks everyone else
Additionally, the Steam store[imgur.com]itself shows what type of game it is, so keep your unnecessary discussions outside the community.

You are looking for an MMORPG, this game remove the Massive Multiplayer from MMORPG but are very similar otherwise.
As far as I'm aware it isn't actually confirmed yet, but it's implied this event will be a permanent mode, as a small selection of the rewards indicate they are only available for a limited-time, but the rest don't.
They're clearly going to keep pushing for more MP/co-op modes in the future.
The sandbox portion of the game can be played completely in coop if you wish, but story quests cannot be for example.
Imo the best coop content are events, most of which only run for about 15 days.
There is no inherit benefit to coop though. Each player will take one character slot on a team rather than everyone bringing a full squad of 3.
I'm not upset lol. How do you know what I'm looking for?
I asked if it was multiplayer because the steam page says single player, how is that a useless discussion?
Oh the imgur says the type of game? It also says it's single player?
Like I said keep your useless comments to yourself, this is another perfect example.
Thank you everyone else for the input and information that is actually of some use.
Some skills are clearly designed for co-op too, such as Verina's healing, which also gives a dps boost to the full party. While that's also useful in solo play the dps boost isn't as noticeable there.
On the flip side there are also negatives, some character kits are designed specifically to be switched out as they provide buffs to the next character/etc. and since you can't switch in co-op (unless you're the host of a 2-person team) these become useless.
Taoqi is a good example here, she has approx 10-15 seconds of "down time" during which her skill is on cooldown and short of getting a well-timed parry in, she isn't likely to do much damage, if you switch to another character during that time you gain the effects of her skill (damage reduction on the next 3 hits received) and her barrier also transfers.
Besides covering for her down-time, she also gains a small dps buff if a different character is active when that damage reduction is triggered or expires.
These effects do NOT copy over to other players in co-op.
(I've over simplified that explanation, there's other ways you can cover for the "down-time" including easy ways to shorten it, but switching is clearly the intended way)
