Dear Linux and Steam Deck friends,

Let’s stay respectful and constructive.

We have a chance to show KURO Games how passionate and supportive the Linux and Steam Deck community truly is. If we present ourselves well, we might encourage them to consider official support for our platforms.

💌 If you want to help, please consider writing a polite and well-worded email to their official support:

wutheringwaves_ensupport@kurogames.com

Alternatively, for general inquiries, you can also try:

support_english@kurogame.com (general contact)

kurogameshk@kurogame.com (App Store/Publisher contact)

Let’s make our voices heard – but always with respect. The way we communicate matters.

📣 Feel free to reply to my post and share your thoughts: https://steamcommunity.com/app/3513350/discussions/0/595147637711187317/

Together, we might be able to bring Wuthering Waves to more players.
Thank you!
I am one of them too.

Desktop Linux and a Bazzite running Legion Go. No ridiculously granular whitelist, just let us play on Linux

On the Wuthering waves steam page, it says that"We're working to resolve Wuthering Waves' compatibility with STEAM DECK and will share updates in the community. Thanks for your understanding! We hope, only hope..
+1, Pop OS and Steam Deck. All this unnecessary ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ for a single player game.

Honestly appalled by this. In the first couple of patches this game was actually working on Steamdeck during its initial release last year, and then they went out of their way to patch Steam Deck support out of the game. What on earth does China have against Linux?

It's the second paragraph under "About this game" on the main store page.

They’re working on the Steam Deck part (I made a separate post about it), not sure if they’re working on Linux compatibility, though.

The "Steam Deck" support won't enable desktop Linux since they use ACE anti-cheat, and ACE anti cheat whitelists devices. Whitelisting the Steam Deck will leave the desktop users (the larger market share) out of luck. Don't know if incompetence or malice, since it makes zero logical sense to block desktop.

To work on Steamdeck, it needs to work on Linux.

No it doesnt need really need to run on linux at large. See Nikki.
ACE which WuWa also uses has a linux option that only work on the steamdeck (its checks for the hardware components)
