Wuthering Waves

Steam or Standalone Launcher?
I only just found out about this coming to Steam today. Have they announced any real benefit to launching it through Steam aside from the obvious couple megabytes saved and being able to tap the Steam Wallet instead of direct payment?

No extra implementation compared to standalone, Epic, and Google Play Games, but they don't need to. Steam itself already offers many general benefits such as Steam Input, screenshots, notes, and so on.

I use Kuro’s launcher when playing on my PC but the fact that the game is coming on Steam is totally awesome—potential Steam Deck support without needing to install Windows. I read that the game already runs but (as usual) it is the anti-cheat, so the fact that the game is officially coming out on Steam might mean official Deck support.

Don't get your hopes up, they actively patched out Proton support before.
