Hard and Normal achievements
I saw this on giantbomb and even though I am usually not into casual games, it looked pleasant enough to buy immediately, so I did and spent the day on and off playing this game. I just beat it on hard, and predictably enough got nearly all the achievements in the process. Don't get me wrong, I had great fun and am not sorry for wasting a large portion my sunday on the game, but it seems really strange to me that I don't get the achievement for beating the game on "normal". From what I've seen, usually games handle such redundant achievements in a more convenient way, giving you all the easier ones automatically.

I will probably return to the game someday and replay it on normal just to get the achievement (this might end up being the first game I ever get all the chievos in), but I don't think that should be a necessary thing to do.

By the way, do I have to beat all the levels on normal, or would it be enough to just beat Bella's Ball on normal? (Assuming it lets me in after I've beaten the game... I actually didn't check)

(shh don't tell anyone) Yes you can just play the last chapter in normal (switch mode on the map screen) to get the normal mode achievement. Congrats on beating the game in Hard mode! It's not easy :-)

Ok okay, that is actually a bit of a relief, I was expecting that if I had to replay the entire game on normal it would be way too dull after hard. And yes, hard was a fun challenge. Well, I was retrying everything until I got all perfect hands anyway (I didn't check and see that there wasn't actually an achievement for all perfect hands in the entire game...) so most of the "hard" requirements were sort of redundant, but the combo and multiplier requirements were the "actually concentrate on beating the challenge" part. Pretty fun. You did a really good job on this game all around!

Thanks! I saw your review, appreciated. Good luck with the last achievement!
