This Game Doesn't Work
I have more than adequate system requirements, but it just hangs on the Eidos screen. Disappointing.

Why would you hang round the discussion area and post on it if you think "why would you buy the game"?

Do you managed to solve the problem? Here the game works fine, but no sound ... very weird!

i bought the game a while ago, the game does work on XP at least :D
have no steam on win7 64 bits so i cant test :D
everything works, sound, music it does it al.... BUT

1.it is cpu heavvy even on my quad core 2.67 with 8 gb ram and nvidia gts 250 1 gb ram
2. the windowed button does NOT work if the button is shown i assume the game gets into a window mode, but it stays full screen.

desktop 1024x768 at 85 mhz

I wanted it to run in a real windowed mode at 800x600 this would give me a game in a window at 800x600 , on my desktop at 1024x768.

For those of you who are having issues running the program. Try changing your screen resolution to 1280x960 temporarily before you launch the program. This should let it launch in the resolution it expects. Once you get the main menu loaded, you can then go to options and select the windowed resolution. This will change it to windowed mode and if you quit it will then remember these settings. You can then change your screen resolution back to whatever you normally have it set at.

This at least fixed it for me, so that I can get it to actually load the main menu properly(I haven't tried actually playing it, yet). Hope that helps others having issues.

thanks for the reply , this topic is about 1.5 years old, devs did not bother to reply, but thats okay so many devs sell games but give ZERO support. but we are used to that.

To "Brio": I installed this game on my HP, Windows 10 laptop, and I had the same issue as the other posters. Your suggestion worked perfectly for me. I just wanted to thank you for helping and for taking the time to reply :-)
