We're not re-releasing Alganon publicly for now. It's why you can't find it in the store search, though it's live once again and you can download (but can't connect to the servers) if you already own it.

Once I push the build with the new server IP and other fixes, it will only be accessible to a select few who already own the game.

No there isn't - and there won't be.

As I had mentioned previously, the upcoming iteration of Alganon isn't the same as when it was taken offline in 2017. So, it's not going to be a matter of flipping a switch and everyone can get in as before.

If you noticed, the Steam store page is available again, but has a notice that it's unlisted because the game isn't for sale nor open to the general public at this time. And if you don't already have it by now, you won't be able to download and play it once Valve completes the config on their end to prevent it.

When I have more news I will share it.

Have the game from before. Downloaded and logged in using Steam, but of course, it couldn't connect to the server.

Great to see the log in screen again nonetheless.

Same, downloading and starting the game works, but Steam login times out.

The game doesn't have the new server IP; so you can't connect and login to the new servers. I explained this already.

There are [currently] no plans to have the legacy game connect to the new servers because no additional work is being done on that build version.

Yea, I understood that there's no there there. If was just for fun. Thanks for clarifying that we'll need a new client because when Alganon returns it will be a different build version.
