Here's a tool to inject mouse support!
The tool saved on the following GitHub page has a working mouse injector!

Place the contents of the .zip file in the game directory!

Doesn't seem to work for me. Do I have to do anything else after dragging all the files in?

For me just placing the files worked! You still have to use your keyboard to navigate menus though! Did you load up a save file and check?
Dear god this works as good as I only hoped it would! My hand was getting so cramped even just after hour of playing it on arrow keys (to think I used to play lot of time like this as a kid :D )

Thank you so much!

As for it not working. I'm fairly certain you made same mistake as I did and downloaded source code instead of injector itself. If the zip file you downloaded includes "SOMMouseInjector" folder? Then you downloaded wrong zip file.

You looking for "SOMLI_1.0" file and not "SOMLI-Release"
It seems like it doesn't work when you also have the dgVoodoo2 files for the black squares fix

Ah yeah that'd be it lol, thanks

Hah so I see. There been stealth update just now trying to fix the soft-lock thing and it seems it also added the dgVoodoo fix by default.

And indeed the injector now does not work.

I figured out how to make it work again!

In the game directory there is a file called "dgVoodoo.conf"

You need to edit this file (notepad works fine)
There's a line in there that says "CaptureMouse = true"

All you need to do is change "true" to "false" and the mouse injector is working again!

This was needed due to native dgVoodoo wrapper implementation
Hmm did a clean reinstall of the game with the injector and changing the value in the conf file but it still doesn't work.

I don't know if it's a mouse issue since the whole injector seems to be ignored as the modern keybindings (in config.txt) are not activated too
aye sadly changing confg file did not fixed it for me neither

Yeah it's not working for me either. I just got another new update so maybe that one broke it again? lol
i really hope we find a fix soon
Was checking other posts and came across this. This indeed straight up makes game be like it was before this was added. But if you were using this before it was added for everyone cause game did not work properly otherwise for you? No idea how to make it work togeher

Open dgvoodoo.conf, find the parameter DisableAndPassThru and set:

DisableAndPassThru = true

Should work as before.

Alternatively delete two dll's from game's root folder.
