Lunacid - Tears of the Moon

Lunacid - Tears of the Moon

Resolution settings are broken.
It just stretches to the screen and screws up your monitor setting; trying to change it in game has it set to some ridiculous 4K setting on my setup for some reason and setting it in config does nothing?

Yeah. Like I said. Menu and videos are locked to 640x480. And the game is on an old enough version of directx that changing the resolution involves changing the desktop resolution.
This is virtually unplayable like this, what gives? Lunacid didn't have these issues; I thought they were both done on the same engine?
Oh no, this is made with Sword of Moonlight, a King's Field game maker tool from 2000. There is a fix I was just testing that works perfectly for me, which can be found here https://dege.freeweb.hu/dgVoodoo2/dgVoodoo2/. I've been trying to convince Kira to package it with the game files. Going to probably write a guide for this.

The main menu is locked to 640x480. The resolution option in the config kicks in once you select new game.

Worked fine for me at 1024x768 though ran terribly at 1600x1200 and the hud was too small.
Open the config file and set your resolution to 1366x768, it should work. I also suggest setting the device to 1 or 2. Keep in mind the resolution settings don't apply to the title screen or cutscenes.

Yeah it doesn't help, it just forces my desktop and everything else to go into smaller resolution.

Lunacid is on Unity. This is on FromSoftware's oldass kings field engine.

Grab dgvoodoo2. Someone posted a link to it in another thread. It'll help.
