This game worth it?

Man i know im asking alot. Been reading a ton of posts and what not, i still wanna ask the people who have it and trucked trhough it and if there is hope out there. Its 20 something bucks and i kinda want it. But should i just buy it on my PS4 or is it ok on PC now. I havent seen anything on a update but then again i dont own it yet either.

Hiya Vermillion,

Just bought the game today and it "works", it's just not as glorious as it was on the 360...As many others pointed out, it's definitely NOT PC ready, but if you have a good computer and run it on lowest settings the actual battles should cause no problem. The main problems imo are the cut scenes and tavern. Seems like performance drops considerably there :/
(maybe you can youtube some pc footage? hard to judge from that alone, but i guess it's better than nothing!)

It's a shame too, considering you have a lot more character creation power and a whole new campaign...maybe KT will reconsider the games potential and their own reputation and see about making some kind of update or patch...

Thanks for the reply!. Yea i playeed the demo on my PS4 and it made it seem like the Tavern was a pretty big part of the game. Damn not sure if i wanna get it on PC or just PS4. I want it more on PC but idk my computer isnt the best but its not the worst either. Pretty fair config. I have a few more days to think about it befor i jump the gun. I just dont think i can pay full price for a half assed port.

Yeah right...KT don't know how to port to PC AT ALL

tbh I'm really enjoying it on pc. Yeah it's not perfect but I loved the game back then and I'm loving the new features so far. However, I can definitely understand that it must be really frustrating for people, if it doesn't play at all on their pc!

(Worst case scenario: test out steam's refund policy :p)

I did love Bladestorm on the XBox 360 and was curious about the Nightmare mode. So far the graphics seem to be ok but the performance isnt. Tecmo Koei ist quite experienced or famous for their pc ports and i doubt they will offer a support though I saw some games actually got some patches.

My old XBox 360 Bladestorm however still crashes randomly causing me to lose hours of gameplay. I hope this wont happen in this version.

Charakter creation is very sweet and I enjoy the new Nightmare mode.

Payed 24 dollars but thats the max amount I would spend on a Koei Tecmo game for pc.
