We are thrilled to finally share some exciting news with you all — the new AquaDream trailer is here, and we’ve also locked in our official release date! Get ready to dive deeper into the underwater world of AquaDream, because the game will be launching on May 22th, 2025!

It’s been an incredible journey bringing AquaDream to life, and we want to thank each and every one of you for your support, feedback, and patience throughout development. The game has evolved a lot since the early demo, and we’re so proud of how it’s shaping up. From the gameplay mechanics to the visuals and story, everything has been refined and enhanced based on your valuable input.

AquaDream Demo Removal

Hello everyone,

We wanted to inform you that the AquaDream demo will be removed on April 30th, as it is no longer representative of the final product. The demo was originally created to introduce AquaDream during Steam Next Fest, and since then, we've made significant progress. There were still a few issues in the demo that we’ve since fixed, and it no longer reflects the current state of the game.

We are incredibly grateful to each and every one of you who took the time to play the demo, explore the world of AquaDream, and provide valuable feedback. Your support has helped us improve the game, and we appreciate the time you’ve invested in playing it!

But don’t worry — a brand-new trailer, showcasing the latest version of AquaDream, will be arriving soon. Along with it, we’ll be revealing the official release date, so stay tuned for some exciting news!

General feedback

After having played five levels I can sum this game up thusly: basically it's a 2D maze with the occasional button to open and close gates. It's quite claustrophobic with a highly zoomed in view meaning that you often have no idea if you're heading in the right direction or not. Furthermore because the textures or you could say sprites are highly repetitive and minimalistic it's very easy to get lost. Thus I find myself wandering around randomly significantly more than I consider to be enjoyable. I'm wonde...
