activate scope again?

picked up the scope on the bolt action rifle and was using it fine. then after a certain cut scene the scope is laying on the right hand side of the rifle and i cant for the life of me figure out which key i need to activate again!
cant see anything obvious in the key bindings either? (though to be fair i did a quick "man search" instead of a proper look! LOL)
any clue?
