When does this game take place in the timeline?

With TNO it was generally accepted that Return to Castle Wolfenstein, Wolfenstein 2009, and TNO were all in the same timeline and the older games were maybe a separate series, since Wolfenstein 2009 referenced events from RtCW and TNO referenced events from 2009 (as well as having Caroline return). But this game seems to be acting like it's BJ's first time going to Castle Wolfenstein, so are they retconning RtCW?

After Wolf 2009 and right before the start of assaulting of Deaths head compaund in the beggining of TNO. However in this prequel they kind a wanted to retell the part of ss paranormal divisoin and occult stuff....but it is not a remake because when you escape from prison and kill super soldaten BJ says I met those in Death's Head X-labs and that is from Return to Castle Wolfenstein. So it is some sort of reimagining and chronologicaly correct events at the same time)))

Ah, that makes sense. I had forgotten that the beginning of TNO was before a 14-year timeskip, so I can see where this fits in now.

Not completely. The Norwegian X-Labs from RtCW were referenced in New Order and once again in Old Blood. However, Chapters 1 and 2 are retconned (and the X-Box/PS2 Egypt prologue if you played those versions) as Old Blood is a retelling of those first two chapters. This also likely means that Chapters 6 and 7 are retconned as that had BJ returning to Castle Wolfenstein. There is no reason that Chapters 3 to 5 (especially 5 as its brought up twice as mentioned) couldn't have happened in this new timeline. Likewise most of the story of Wolf 2009 remains part of the timeline as nothing in the New Order/Blood timeline directly conflicts with that game. Even Wolf 2009's reference of RtCW was about the Supersoldier program which New Order/Blood references. That said Wolf 2009's graphic novel videos are completely non-canon. I don't even think they were canon back when that game came out.
