Yeah, even my GTX Titan is struggling to maintain a solid 60fps at 1080p. Something weird is going on. The texture pop-in is atrocious too. I have 6GB of VRAM but I still see the entire world loading in whenever I turn around...
I'm running on a 970 and the game runs solid 60 for me :|
I have a GTX 760 and a AMD FX 8350 and the game runs fine Maxed out, only drops to the 50s in hectic moments. Maybe is driver related and the 970. I'm sure it will be dealt with very soon.

what resolution? As soon as I pop V SYNC on 1440P drops to 40 continuously regardless of where I am. If I add AA also adds drops. I'm on ultra no screen space refelections maxed virtualtexture bias bar. GTX 970 SLI, I7 37770K @ 3.9GHz, 16GB DDR3 @ 2133MHz (Engine only uses 1 card though :( )
Bottom line.. game is horribly optimized. I hope to one day go back and enjoy this game when I have the hardware but this game just isn't matching it atm.

stop using the crippled 970 crap, get a real card like the 290x

Aaaand wrong. 970msi here and it smokes this game on ultra 1080p .

edit: I will say, I have been having alot of luck in various games lately getting a FPS boost by ditching DoF and motion blur. Useless effects anyway IMO.

If you're having a lot of pop-in problems you should probably check your dpc latency: http://www.thesycon.de/deu/latency_check.shtml

Bear in mind Windows 8/10 will always show some yellow but shouldn't show large peaks/valleys. A lot of these issues aren't even caused by your graphics card but by buggy audio/USB/IDE drivers. In particular Realtek drivers can be pretty ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ terrible if you have all of their hook-in software loaded up as well.
Runs like a joke on dual Titan X setup (not that it matters, since idtech5 engine doesnt support SLI).

One of the biggest hogs on performance for me is screen space reflections combined with atialiasing. If i drop down to 4x AA and medium SSR (which is what they set it to if you select ULTRA as a preset), the game runs smooth (with everythen else maxed). Still, on a Titan X system, considering how awful it looks with the abhorrent aliasing, i would have still expected to run 8x AA smoothly.

Also, when are they gonna find a way to stop this engine from having this horrible texture load-in? Especially during fast action it just takes you right out of the immersion. This really is a joke of an engine imho.

Nice, thanks for that link. Useful tool.
Im running a 760 and i'm getting 60 FPS on Medium at 1440p
Solid 60 FPS @ 1080p custom(Ultra + more AA etc) with a 4770k and GTX 980. I was noticing some drops at the beginning, but it stopped after about 30 seconds. Would be nice to get an official driver so i can crank up the settings a bit more, but for now its fine.
I'm running a 970 and an i5. Solid 60 with AA off but most everything maxed out. Only small dips to fifty every so often during gun fights.

I have gtx 980 and the game working fine except when I increased the antialising more than 8x then the game came totally unplayable but with 8x the game working fine. Just tried to disable the antalising if it's enabled and see how it will work

Yeah something wrong with the AA, as soon as I go above 8x. The game is unplayable, the in game AA is complete garbage.
I have a 970 and I'm not having any issues. Constant 60fps. 0 drops in frames. Ultra Settings.

My Rig:
Intel i7 3770K
EVGA 970 SSC ACX Driver Version 350.12
16GB DDR3
Windows 7 64bit
