What is the completion rank dependent on?

I completed the game entirely (meaning I received all achievements) and to my pleasant surprised I was put in the 191st place of the global ranking. However, since then I have fallen to position 194. I managed to improve some scores on challenge maps, but my rank hasn't changed.

Does anyone know what the rank is based on? Is it possible to improve it, once 100% completion has been reached, and if yes then how?

I guess just maximizing your score on the challenge levels then.

Naah, I improved my score a number of times on certain challenge maps. None of that has affected anything in "completion" ranking. I think the system is somehow bugged.

the max score you can get is 10,000. when new people reach 10,000 they may pass you up because of some sorting method steam uses. you cant improve it beyond that point.

I know, that's exactly the point of this thread - I was wondering if somebody knew this "sorting method". But yeah, it sucks that it can't be improved. Thx for the reply

honestly, i dont think there is a method. just randomly places you in a spot and sometimes people get randomly placed ahead of you.
