Wolfenstein: The Old Blood

Wolfenstein: The Old Blood

Any third-person view option?
Or isn't the character animated beyond its lower arm?

Get with the times. Wolfenstein hasn't been 3rd person since '84.

"The times" move forward, not backward and advances in gaming technology should mean more options, not less.

Do you go into game forums of third person shooters and complain that they don't have an option to play in first person?

^ No. Because FPS are so prevalent that to complain that there aren't enough is tantamount to complaining their isn't enough war or rape or paedophilia.

Having said that, ALL shooters should have both an FP and TP play persepctive option. It's 2015 and laziness with respect to animating characters or simply adding said option is inexcusable.

You got it. For example in Rage when you activate third person you will see your character that will always be in one pose sliding on the surfase as you move.....so yeah they simply did not animated that since ...well it's console market now...what did you expect? Thank god we at least have some options on PC.

Lolwut, that's a total non sequitur.
This game doesn't need 3rd person and it wouldn't fit with the game that's being created
It's not lazy if what they develop would ruin the games atmosphere and what not

Just imagine alien isolation in 3rd person, it would loose all that makes the game great

Yeah I kind of agree, Not a fan of FPS games, but if this game had 3rd person. I would pick it up for sure. Combat with the perspective one has wearing a scuba mask just doesn't do it for me. Think I will pass on this one.

That's why developers moved the camera forward, into first person. Nobody wants to pull backwards into third person. That's outdated thinking.

Wow kids these days have no concept of game design, this is why gaming is dying.

^Gaming is dying? Steam just set a record high 9 million concurrent users.
