Taking screenshots causes game to go completely black

Dunno why this is doing this, anyone else experience/have a solution for it?

Yeah it did the same thing to me. I finally fixed it by completely exiting the game waiting a minute then starting it back up. Now if i wanna take screenshots ill use fraps or something lol

In my case it happens but causes no problem. The black screen is there for a milisecond (at the exact moment of steam capturing a screenshot) but after that milisecond (after the shot is taken) it is gone with zero problems whatsoever. So the problem here is that it got stuck for you?
Side note: this also causes the game to took screenshot of the black screen. But this is not a problem because the screenshot that steam takes is accurate. So the black screen only affects the screenshot that game takes and does not effect the screenshot that steam takes.

Also as a side note these games can't be streamed on discord. Screenshot goes black and videos stream is black screen is not good signs and might be related with one another. Maybe there is an API clash or something? I mean the game and steam takes the screenshot at the exact same time... maybe that causes a problem? Though I can't see why would it be a problem. Hmm... I am planning to do an experiment if I have time today. If I don't have the time today then I will do the experiment 72 hours later. The experiment is simple. I am gonna close steam overlay for this game completely and then test screenshot problem annnnnd stream to discord. I genuninely believe there might be a connection between this and discord stream problem since the problem IS EXACTLY THE SAME THING. Though it never broke my game unlike it did yours.
