After you get the achievement with a glitchy-looking name near the very end of the postgame (▓▓▓), you should go and get any of the two endings that involve going back to your ship.
If you do the final step in the postgame before getting this achievement, you'll have to play through the entire game again.
Of course, since it's at the absolute end of the game, you don't have to worry about it for a long time, and the postgame is quite large.
Most other achievements you might not get even after 200% involve hidden items that do not add to the completion percentage. It's recommended to get 100% before getting the final postgame ending (and you should only get this ending once; do not do it again on NG+).
i was curious 'cuz of the F R I E N D S H I P that i'm still unsure how to get at the moment and i thought i might've screwed it up but even then i suppose it's not a big deal since i'll be doing another playthrough on a separate file anyway for the speedrun achievement
thanks for your help!
i mean i'll probably look around the texts/monitors in the area just to make sure i didn't miss anything lol
This has nothing to do with that achievement, however. It's in a secret room near the bottom-right of the map.
out of curiosity as well actually, you mentioned that i should only get the final post-game ending once and not on ng+, why is that?
You can (and should) pay a visit to the final single-screen room before the corridor leading to the ending, but nothing past that, as you won't be able to backtrack.
also hrrrrmmm i just got thought you could escape but not the pre-requisite achievement
was i s'posed to get it in a different way?
edit: yeah i just got it, it pops up past the clock room
I remember the glitch achievement triggering when I entered the endless corridor, so maybe it's not a prerequisite for the other achievement.
well, the ghost WAS following me , but i hadn't ever gone into the invalid clock/endless corridor room, so i only had the "in-game" pre-requisite done after being on the doorstep to finishing the post-game ( that is, after pushing the button to open access to the final room )
so i got that achievement before getting the glitch achievement , so i only got that latter achievement after i went into the invalid clock corridor lol
anyway i'm at NG+ now so i'm almost done sweeping up the achievements, many thanks again for your help
200% is a little annoying as you must activate every single "story" flag again, as well as all the optional interactions that change the world in some way (like killing the plants, activating the Diskette reader, all four pillars, etc...).
now i just need to do some different kind of research to get the speedrun achievement and i'll be all done with the 'cheevos
edit: i am now the environmental station alpha (got a run done in 33min in-game time)
not as bad as i was expecting considering how hard the final boss kicked my butt the first time
