The Game Won't Launch (Mac)
When I try to open the game this message pops up "ESA_mac.exe isn't executable. Can't start the game." Now if I'm not mistaken, .exe files are windows files. That wouldn't be an issue if I could actually find the "ESA_mac.exe" file it mentions, but I've search for about an hour now and can't find this mysterious file.

I have "Wine" to run windows apps so it shouldn't be an issue. Even tried searching using "WineBottler" but for some reason it thinks the game file is a Mac app.

Huh, that's really odd :O The game is baked into a wrapper so technically there *is* a Windows executable within the App file. I hope I didn't accidentally break the wrapper file with a recent update, hm. I'll have to look into it, but right now I'm afraid that a refund is your best option.

Luckily I have a Wacom that can run the game, but I would suggest taking a look into the issue. It's an awesome game and I had a blast. I don't want other Mac users to miss out on the fun if they don't have a back up option like I did.

Still not resolved... I think it may have something to do with the fact that Apple's latest MacOS versions do not support 32-bit apps anymore. Maybe the wrapper should be updated with a 64-bit version?

I managed to run it on macos Sonoma x86.
It takes three simple steps:
1) install homebrew (use Google to find out how)

2) open terminal and install wine-stable via homebrew:
brew install wine-stable

3) start the game:
wine64 ~/Library/Application\ Support/Steam/steamapps/common/Environmental\ Station\ Alpha/Environmental\ Station\ Alpha.app/Contents/Resources/wineprefix/drive_c/ESA/ESA_mac.exe

luck
