Stuck in plague hive save room

Am I missing something? I'm having trouble with the boss but I appear to be stuck in that save room.

There's a pusher wall that won't let me leave so I can't go hunt for upgrades and come back.

I hope I'm wrong.

cant remember but maybe youre stuck until after you beat the boss?

Currently playing the game now, and I had finally defeated the damn Restless Spirit boss after a few days - I went to the room you are talking about and I see what you mean.

The best advice I can give you is to try to grapple hook to swing half way across the big wind tube (the wind doesn't affect you if you are grappling) and then use the dash to escape it.

So this post in 5 years old.... but thank you to everyone who posted on it. I had encountered the same issue. I was successfully able to leave the room by simply using the grapple a few times in the air tube pusher wall thing. Thanks to MrU in particular in regards to the grapple not being impeded by those particular obstacles.
