Hrm.. Maybe they're going to set it up so you get a Steam key when you enter the code on the card, and they're blocking the card codes for now because the "key creating script isn't don't quite yet"?
I guess if anyone finds out for sure, it'll wind up in here
Also if it's really true that you only get steam key with the package + digital edition that's really bad move since digital only was I think initially almost the same price.
" Use your "dollar votes" to buy the games you'd like to see more of, including artists and companies you like, so we know to make more of these.
If you want us to keep making physical editions of games forever, consider choosing our Limited Edition titles, which come with artbooks, mousepads or other cool stuff, or the convenient "2-games-in-1" value sets we've been publishing, to keep more games in print as physical editions.
If you prefer the convenience of our Internet download editions, that's fine too. Remember, all our games are DRM-free (whether package or download).
While we hope fans will support JAST USA's Steam releases, it'd be great if customers who prefer the proper 18+ editions of our games will support those directly. We'll always give free Steam keys for free to customers who purchase package editions, where applicable. (Littlewitch Steam codes will be ready soon.)"
Thanks for the heads up.
It appears that we can finally redeem the key we got sent by e-mail here https://www.jastusa.com/gamecard.
After doing so, you can go to either "My Games" or "My Orders", click on your Order #, and you'll find the Steam key under the Product Name.
EDIT: Aaaand I've just been sent the Steam key directly through e-mail.
You know if there's been anything further on this? I got it from jlist, and haven't gotten any email or anything yet, but it's been a while.
Personally, this is all I know:
Plus, I never got a code in the first place, unless you're talking about the original CD key for downloading from the g-collections support site.
EDIT: Oh, wait, I didn't know the JAST website was the full-on replacement for the g-collections download site. Going through the process now.
EDIT2: And done. Got my game on steam! Thanks!
I bought the digital version while under the impression I'd be getting a key. Considering they were the same price or very close if I remember correctly, seems like they're making more off of the digital version anyway, so why don't we get a key too?
