Code 8; Authenticated cookie: verification error -- error on startup, doesnt work

I have this installed on my son's computer. About a month ago I started getting the above error during start up. I see a lot of people have had the same problem in the past, what is the fix to this?

Can you please describe the other symptoms? Is application running anyways after this error is thrown? A screenshot could also help.

no the application does not keep running. All it says it
Code 8; Authenticated cookie: verification error

I have same problem here. I tried to start the app but it crashes an shows the Error above, restarting the app, restarting the steam app, uninstalling the Panda app and reinstalling it didn't help. I'm having the same problem on all computers at home, 2 desctops and a laptop. Any solution?

Sorry for the late response. The main developer (me) have been away for the extended weekend.
Indeed the problem is presented and I can reproduce it.
It is concerning only Steam version of the browser - that's why we could not spot it earlier.
We'll fix it ASAP and let you know in this forum thread.

As a temporary workaround you can use the non-Steam version for some time.
Just download it from here and use it the same way you use the steam version.

Hey everyone. Looks like we finally found the reason of the issue. It happened during website migration to HTTPS. We are working on the solution and most likely it will be delivered next week.
