Paying Invoices in the Bank

I made a lot of money with BlipCoin. So I naturally tried to pay my balance in the bank app. It still says I have insufficient funds, even though I have thousands more than my bills as far as I can see. Is this something the game simply did not anticipate? I'm guessing you are never able to pay your balance no matter how much money you have. Is that correct?
