So where is it?
I can't get my controller to work at all, and I don't even see an option for controllers anywhere.

What gives?

What controller are you trying to use with it?

My own experience: I have a program called MotionInJoy (free) which spoofs my PS3 pad to act as a 360 pad (I prefer the pad). I find that the face buttons and the left stick work fin on this game.

I suspect that a native 360 pad would also work.

Let me know... Another option might be set up XPadder.

This game works with my xbox 360 pad. Had to make sure the pad was switched on first befor i loaded the game.
