Wierd phantom keyboard presses without pressing anything!!!

Hi - on both the demo and the full product, the menus (and gameplay) show that somehow "up" is getting registered repeatedly without pressing anything! I have changed all the controls - but this still keeps happening.

No game controllers connected. Essentially just keyboard and mouse. Checked in wordpad - up arrow not being pressed. Video here:

Very disappointed. Joined Steam for some schmups for my arcade cab, and so far a lot of games are buggy :(

Windows 8
All drivers up to date + Direct X.

Does the devs see these threads?

Hmmm.. new to steam - how do I contact the devs of this game, as still having this bug and makes game unplayable??

steam is not above hawking products that aren't functional.
the greenlight filter will be lifted soon and you won't believe the things you'll see for sale here then...

Well, also put me off steam a bit too, tbh. New to it - and looked very polished and thought had good pedigree. I didn't realize they were serving as a shop front for people making products that don't work. :/
