About gameplay mechanisms...
I am one of those people who like more the style of 3, compared to revolution's. Anyone knows what changes will occur, comparing 4 towards revolution, or if and which ones, older gampley mechanisms, will return from previous titles?

1) To begin with, the exclusivity of either Ultimate Technique, OR awakening, OR group that revolution forced a choice concerning, on you, i didn't like it the least bit. I preferred the 3's style, which allowed you to use any of them, even all at quick succession. Will 4 have a painful choice to limit down your playstyle, for instance, or not?

2) Ultimate Technique Damage. I swear, in Revolution it seemed pretty low, when compared towards 3's. Will 4 be like 3, 3 Ultimates and you down an enemy for good, or you have to use it strategically and watered down?

3) Somewhere i got word that older storm series mechanisms will return. Something like "technique creation" or something, from 2, or so they said? Can anyone explain more on that, since anything before 3 didn't come to pc?

I would like to discuss with you people, especially if you are old players and know more. I liked 3 pretty much, though. It was as close or as good as i imagined and wished it to be.

1) Nope, you'll be able to use ougi, awakening and supports in the same battle
2)I'm not sure about that, but the damage have been increased.
3)Hm... They said they'd bring back wall battles, but it seems they lied, unless they include them in the story mode.

I take it you played the DEMO on the PS4 or Xbox to know wall running isn't implemented yet? That sucks.

Yeah, I played it, (New Konoha and Destroyed valley of the end stages) but even with that, we haven't seen any single footage about it, just an artwork...

2) The damage is reduced when you do ultimates during a combo, but I'd say it's a bit lower even without that.
3) This isn't "creation" per se, but for example when you choose Kakashi, you have the option of using the Fireball, Water Dragon, or Lightning Blade as the normal jutsu you use in battle. This was implemented in previous Storm games that were not ported to PC.

New:

- Pretty sure defense drive is removed, but replaced with chakra charge assistance (yay)
- Attack Drive nerfed
- Counter nerfed (block + shuriken)
- Charge Chakra dash
- Tag Team
- Armor destruction
- Elemental jutsu enhanced
- 200% health system (see Injustice: Gods Amoung Us)
- Awakened Tag Team
- No Instant Awakening (thank goodness)

Old:

- The "YOH!" sound

Great post! Thanks for the info! Also, is it my impression, or all ougis now inflict pretty miniscule damage? Full Burst ougis used to deal massive damage and Revolution's also pretty miniscule...

I wouldn't say miniscule, if the enemy is stunned for any reason, the ultimate jutsu damage is reduced. That's all there is to it.
