Remote Play Together Issue

Some friends and I were trying out a League series through Steam Remote Play Together, but had input issues:

First, we noticed that it only seems to register two inputs. For example, when it came to first player versus third player, it was only first and second player controllers that worked. We looked this up online and saw that anyone not playing should unplug their controller. We tried that and it worked for a bit. However...

The next problem was when one of the matches started and the second player was in control of both second and third player's characters. We reset our controllers, with only second and third players reconnecting, but the host's (aka first player's) keyboard overrode all inputs for third player--even when the host unplugged the keyboard entirely! We tried so many ways of connecting, reconnecting, and rearranging inputs, but it only allowed first player's keyboard to control the third player's character.

Has anyone experienced this? Does anyone have any tips? We'll be pretty bummed if we can't reliably play =(

Ah, well, that really sucks. Love this as a couch co-op game. Would've been perfect for Remote Play Together.

I was able to get it to work easily, your issue should be (i believe) that each device connected can only recieve input from one controlle. you may be able to connect at the very least up to 4 using the steam invite link and connect to your phones if your controllers are Bluetooth enabled.

Thanks, WarlockZ. I don't think I fully understand your recommendation though. The second and bigger problem was that the host's keyboard was overriding all controller inputs in the one match, despite everyone successfully connecting controllers. Can going through the phone somehow override that?
