About Japanese interface and subtitles.

I guess there is no one here would ever care about, but I am still gonna ask it. My first language is not English and I am pretty familiar with Japanese and Naruto Manga and anime, in fact I have played some of the Japanese version of Naruto games on PS2 many years ago, and I want to paly this game in full Japanese, not just voice but everything. It seems that the PC version of this game is not available in Japan so they just don’t make a PC full Japanese version at all. So…will there going to have any kind of mod that can add the Japanese interface and subtitles to the game or is there any kind of mod like that exist for previous storm games?

you seem to understand enough english to write this; then you'd understand enough to play the naruto game... really, anime stories aren't too hard to follow with just a basic knowledge of the language

Thank you for replying me, I want to play the whole game in Japanese because I feel better with everything in Japanese instead of listening Japanese and reading everything in English, I followed Naruto series kind of like from the beginning to the end so understanding the story isn’t the problem. Like I said I played Naruto games in Japanese on PS2 when I was a kid and now I can play the latest Naruto game with the ending of the story, imagine how exciting that would be to feel like how the time has past these years.

Only Japanese option available is Audio, no Japanese Interface or Subtitles! Sorry :(
I don't think this is something that can easily be modded in.

There's no Japanese subtitles. Only audio. I don't think many would be interested in playing the game in Japanese subtitles, and it would take a lot of effort to make a mod for it. You can always play with subtitles off if you want no English at all.

sorry my friend this does not have that now my english isnt verry good but it doesnt bother me but i also know chinese if you know chinese you could switch to that version but idk why are native lang is not in this game but only win voices

I really don't know. If you really live in Japan, you need to find the JP equivalent version of this game if exists. Otherwise, it's something that Steam regulates region purchasing.

Out of curiosity, I've checked the Language tab for specific game settings and... yeah, this version do not include Japanese language. It has been years since its release and devs wouldn't care much about adapting JP language from consoles to PC. If anyone's willing to create one, it would take a lot of time (or modders will scrap the idea of translation) to figure out how to mod something like messageinfo.bin.xfbin.

Note that I have some skills in UNS modding. Changing text (and also font) isn't as easy as other moddable games as the challenge will be keeping the filesize of messageinfo.bin.xfbin file. Expanding or shrinking the filesize of it will crash the game; I've just tried it; it's trial and error. You'll never know which one that breaks and which one that doesn't when you mod the game.

Ah, I see.

Honestly, I'm not the only one that asked for that feature ever since Ace Combat 7 was out. Even GTA V has ability to choose the language you want, including Japanese.

TBF, the reason this game only offers Japanese audio but not with Japanese UI and subtitles is probably because of region restriction and platform exclusivity. It's one of the two.
