Now if you really want to aboid them, once the finish scene start playing, you both already know who won, so press Star, select "Return To Character Selection".
I just saved you the finishing scene, the victory screen and the choices menu. Wich for you "interrupt the flow".
He means it kills the flow of the FINISHING MOVE/BLOW, they start it, then the scene appears, THEN the finishing blow happens, he doesn't like that, he thinks it kills the finishing move.
Each to their own.
Who knows, maybe they would add it but I dont see it being that neccesary, the patches we got so far sure were neccesary.
Why would I want to look at a badly filtered screenshot from a badly drawn anime?
Because it's an attempt at adding authenticity and emotion to a character, and their attacks.
I like it anyway, but that's just me...
